How to Fund your Atmos Account
You’ve been approved for Atmos checking and savings. Congratulations on taking this critical first step towards taking climate action with your FDIC-insured deposits.

Outlined below are four options to help you fund your Atmos account:
Option 1: Set up a transfer (ACH) from your external bank to Atmos using Micro-deposits
Step 1 - To set up a bank transfer (ACH) to Atmos using micro-deposits, log in to your other/external financial institution and add an external account. In most cases, this can be done through your online banking portal though the process may differ across financial institutions.
You’ll need your Atmos account and routing numbers to provide to your other/external financial institution. For new accounts, once logged into your account, your account and routing numbers can be found by navigating to ‘Move Money’ > 'Add/Receive Funds'. Please be mindful whether you’re capturing information for your checking or savings account as your other/external financial institution may require account type.
Please note: You must be an owner or co-signer on the other/external account to use it for bank transfers.
Step 2 - Allow your bank to send two small deposits to your Atmos account. These are commonly referred to as micro-deposits as both are less than $1.00. Wait 1-2 business days, then log into your Atmos account to look for the two deposits from your other/external financial institution.
Step 3 - Verify the settled deposits directly with your other/external financial institution. Once verified, you’ll be able to set up bank transfers to/from Atmos, directly inside of your Atmos application or from you other/external financial institution. Please be mindful of daily/monthly transfer limitations that may be imposed by your other banking provider.
Please note: Please limit initial inbound bank transfers to a maximum of $15,000.
Option 2: Set up a transfer (ACH) from your external bank to Atmos using Plaid
Please note: Plaid may not be an option for all banking services providers. Please contact the support services at your other/external financial institution if you are unsure if this feature is available for you.
Step 1 - To set up a bank transfer (ACH) to Atmos using Plaid, log in to your other/external financial institution and add an external account. Follow your other/external financial institution's steps for connecting an account with Plaid. It's typically as easy as entering in your Username and Password for your new Atmos account.
Option 3: Deposit a check
Step 1 - To deposit a check, download the Atmos Financial mobile app from your App or Play stores.
Step 2 - Complete the security steps under More. Both document verification and annual compliance questions must be fulfilled.
Step 3 - Inside of the mobile app, navigate to 'Move Money' and choose ‘Deposit a check’. Follow all instructions to successfully to deposit a check.
Please note: Mobile check deposit limitations are quoted in your Atmos web and mobile applications.
Option 4: Set up Direct Deposit
Your account and routing numbers can be found by navigating to ‘Move Money’ > 'Add/Receive Funds'. To set up a direct deposit into your Atmos account, follow these four easy steps.
