Product Updates – March 25th 2024

Join us for a weekly review of our product updates made to optimize your account holding experience at Atmos. This week we’re excited to announce our launch of Joint Checking, in addition to user experience optimization with in app pin setting, password resetting, account linking, and more!

Personal Banking

  • Mobile parity with web: We’ve continued to ensure that the user experience across all devices is consistent. We made sure that from the mobile home page, customers can review their savings rates and their cashback rewards balance.
  • User interface enhancements for mobile banking: We’ve improved the layout for accounts with large balances and the peer to peer payments experience.
  • Mobile banking login optimization: Some of our customers reported complaints about friction when logging into the mobile banking application. We’ve addressed the issue.
  • Joint checking beta test: We found and fixed an error with the card images shown on the checking account page for joint checking beta accounts.
  • Support links: We found and fixed errors with our ‘contact support’ link not working on a few select pages.
  • Password reset: Resetting password on iOS apps flow will now properly route to a web browser.

Business Banking  

  • New user sign up improvements: 
    • Now, applicants for business savings accounts can specify what the apartment number or suite number of their business address is. It’s important for customers to enter the exact same address as on their address verification documents.
    • If any fields fail input validation, we flag them for the applicant on the given page (e.g. a malformatted SSN) instead of pushing them along through the flow and surfacing errors on the last page.
    • We added more information to the ‘success’ page that we show when prospective customers submit their applications. We want to improve transparency over the application process and make it clear that there are additional materials we need to fully approve an account.

Onboarding emails: We now have automated emails that will remind business savings account applicants to complete the onboarding steps such as answering fraud prevention questions, sharing information about people who own at least 25% of the company, sharing official, signed documentation that verifies the legitimacy of the business, and then finally, creating and funding a savings account!

Solar Lending

Bugfix: Some of our loan customers had issues with viewing their account details. We’ve addressed the concern and the root issue.

Emails: Customers who still have a balance due will receive statement emails on the 15th of every month with a breakdown of the principal and interest paid out year to date and for the lifetime of the loan.
