Product Updates – April 9th 2024

This week we’re excited to announce an easier way to send payments to other people or businesses outside of Atmos, better feedback for identity verification, the option to close a zero balance account, and a simpler way to make a loan payment.


Personal and Business Banking

  • New and improved wire flow:

  • Add or select a recipient will route customers to a new page where they can choose between their existing recipients or add new ones.

To add a recipient, the customer must first choose the method of transfer. Then, they can fill out the form with the remaining details.


All new recipients must be verified by Atmos before payments can be made.

  • Better identity verification messaging: We now more clearly indicate that after customers complete the DocV or CDD steps whether the account is pending review or ready to go!

  • Closing accounts: Customers can now close zero balance checking or savings accounts via the web or mobile applications without having to contact Customer Support. Customers can always create new checking and savings accounts from the home page.


  • Bugfix for check deposits sometimes crashing app: A few Android customers reported that their mobile application would crash after attempting to deposit checks into their checking accounts. 

Solar Loans

  • Autopay: We’ve made it easier for our loan customers to make payments. Customers will be routed to set up Autopay straight from the loan page. Once on the Move Money page, customers can select the Solar Loan as the ‘to Account’ and see three payment options. Customers can pay off any balances they owe, enroll in Autopay to guarantee on-time delivery of their minimum monthly balance owed, and make principal reduction payments to reduce the total amount that they owe.
