Atmos joint accounts can be a useful tool to build financial wellness for you and your account co-owner. Please review account limitations and our Terms of Service before you open a joint account: 

• Prior to creating a joint savings account, individuals will need to open an individual account with Atmos.

• Joint accounts can be created and shared by any two individuals eligible for an Atmos account. To be eligible for an Atmos account, individuals need to be at least 18 years of age, and be a valid and legal resident of the United States with a government issued Social Security Number and ID. 

• Customers do not need to share an address or be related to your joint account holder. 

• Joint accounts are only available for customers that have successfully completed our security steps to unlock our full-service banking features. 

• Both account holders have unrestricted access to their jointly held Atmos savings account, including the ability to schedule payments, transfers or wires from the account without the explicit permission of the account’s co-owner. 

• Atmos does not have the ability to recall payments or transfers based on disagreements between co-owners. 

• Co-owners do not have visibility into and can not access the individually held accounts of another co-owner.
